Facebook How To Delete Messages You Sent: Facebook's Messages application presents your business and personal messages in a threaded sight format for every conversation you have with Facebook friends and business contacts. Although the conversation view is a helpful way to keep track of that claimed what and when, you could wish to remove some of your sent messages to declutter the message string, especially for long conversations that happen over weeks or months. Facebook Messages lets you choose and erase specific sent messages from each conversation thread.

Action 1: Sign in to your Facebook account.
Action 2: Click the "Messages" button in the menu on the left to open up the Messages web page.
Action 3: Click the conversation which contains the sent messages you want to delete. Facebook displays conversation strings in date order with the most current below the web page.
Step 4: Click the "Actions" button on top of the conversation screen.
Step 5: Select "Delete Messages" from the pull-down menu.
Step 6: Click to enable the check box beside each sent message that you intend to delete.
Step 7: Click the "Delete Selected" switch and then click "Delete Messages" in the confirmation pop-up home window. Facebook removes the picked messages.
Tip: To remove a whole conversation, including all received and sent messages, click the "Delete All" alternative after opening up the "Delete Messages" display.
