Size Facebook Cover: At the end of March 2018, Facebook rolled out the Timeline to all company pages. You'll undoubtedly wish to see to it you obtain the style of your cover image specifically right to make sure that you make optimum use of the room readily available, in addition to making sure you don't break the rules
There are a reasonable few website that are providing you incorrect details about the optimum size of the cover photo. Don't fret, I'm going to establish the record right!
The maximum size of a Facebook Timeline cover photo at the time of composing (March 2012) is 851 × 315 pixels. Facebook validate this here.
The minimum size of your uploaded photo is 399 pixels. I've not found a restriction to the elevation. Facebook ranges images that are wider (or narrower) compared to the maximum to be 851 pixels vast. You could then scroll the picture backwards and forwards to select the suitable 315 pixels of its height to show.
A 1 pixel wide semi-transparent border is contributed to cover photos, there is also a similar 1 pixel border included in our profile picture in addition to 15 pixel of white. Additionally there are 1 pixel "rounded" edges (which you could see in the close up below).
Half of the profile image overlaps your cover picture, meaning 135 × 75 pixels are never ever visible to vistors to your web page. Ensure you prevent placing important elements or message because component of your photo.
Keep in mind that timelines of individuals (instead of business web pages) show a bigger account photo of 166 × 160 pixels that covers 160 × 120 pixels of the cover image.
Your account photo is constantly square. If you upload a non-square profile photo you could adjust the component shown by means of the "edit thumbnail" option. Facebook does not allow you use the complete size of your profile image. 16% of it is difficult to choose (see my previous message about profile picture sizes) unless you select the "scale to fit" option.
