Facebook Coverphoto Size: At the end of March 2018, Facebook turned out the Timeline to all business pages. You'll clearly intend to make sure you obtain the design of your cover photo exactly right to ensure that you make optimum use the room readily available, as well as making certain you do not break the rules
There are a reasonable few web pages that are giving you inaccurate details regarding the ideal size of the cover image. Do not worry, I'm mosting likely to set the document right!
The optimum dimension of a Facebook Timeline cover image at the time of writing (March 2012) is 851 × 315 pixels. Facebook validate this here.
The minimum width of your uploaded photo is 399 pixels. I've not found a limitation to the height. Facebook ranges images that are wider (or narrower) than the optimum to be 851 pixels vast. You could then scroll the image backwards and forwards to select the proper 315 pixels of its elevation to reveal.
A 1 pixel large semi-transparent boundary is contributed to cover photos, there is also a similar 1 pixel border contributed to our profile picture in addition to 15 pixel of white. In addition there are 1 pixel "rounded" edges (which you could see in the close listed below).
Fifty percent of the profile image overlaps your cover image, suggesting 135 × 75 pixels are never visible to vistors to your web page. Ensure you prevent putting crucial aspects or message because component of your photo.
Note that timelines of individuals (as opposed to company pages) reveal a bigger account image of 166 × 160 pixels that covers 160 × 120 pixels of the cover image.
Your account image is constantly square. If you post a non-square profile photo you can change the part shown via the "modify thumbnail" alternative. Facebook does not let you make use of the full width of your account photo. 16% of it is impossible to pick (see my previous post about profile picture sizes) unless you pick the "range to fit" choice.
